Degraftpr Reviews Obibini’s Diagram EP

Hip Hop artist and Zylofon Music signee Obibini has released his much talked about EP dubbed Diagrams prior to the release of his debut album hopefully in the ending of this year.

The Diagrams EP is a eight track project with conscious lyricism and deep messages that paints different pictures about life, the struggle of Africa, religion and his private life as a rapper.

The project features Sarkodie, Feli Nuna, Frydai, Kweysi Swat and Young Boss and was produced by creative minds like Konfem, Seven Snares, Skinny Willis and DJ Pain.

The EP started with the Intro, a hip-hop fused with traditional Adowa cultural rhythm and it was perfectly liaised with chanting of appellations in the Twi dialect ( most spoken language in Ghana).

The first track dubbed Slaves, is a conscious song commenting on how we’ve been made Slaves to many things like social media, phones, business and neglecting God and also our families in addition.

The second track Stacks, is just the everyday hip-hop braggadocios. In this piece, Obibini shows his lyrical prowess in their masterpiece.

The third single Plugs N Effects features Young Boss, on an old gangster hip-hop riddim sending shots to fellow rappers and any hater on his way. He shows he’s really one of the best in Ghana. Young Boss proved he is a boss on this piece with bars on bars.

The fourth track features the legendary Sarkodie and Frydai. The song was the first song to be released off the project and the reception has been exceptional.

The fifth single was song for his birth place Mile 7, he expressed his appreciation for their support to his brand all these years.

The sixth tract Mask Gang was, once again, a shot to his competitors.

The seventh single features Feli Nuna is an afropop single titled Too Bad where both artist expressed their love for each other in a perfect way. Their delivery in this piece was impeccable.

The last single features the new highlife sensation Kweysi Swat is a spiritual song. Both artists thank the almighty God for holding them down all these years and putting them on their feet in their career. Kweysi Swat sang the chorus emotionally and this piece is touted one of the best singles off the project.

The project is nothing but classic and their delivery, timing and lyricism is aptly mastered.

United Kingdom based Ghanaian duo Reggie N Bollie has released a new pop single, to savour the thirst of their fans for a new music, dubbed ‘Chop Banana’, fast tempo song which will shake the muscles of music fanatics across the globe.

The duo released Break It Down a month ago which received massive rotation across the world and the release of a new fast tempo pop single would put their fans on a dancing spree, lit up their mood and wherever the song is played you can’t help but nod to the groovy tune.

The title ‘Chop Banana’ already speaks volume on the concept of the song. The duo talks about a girl they met at the club who is really in to spent a night and as naughty as she is, she is ready to taste the ‘Banana’.

Bless Releases Another Banging Banger, Moonlight

Ghana’s prolific and authentic highlife sensation Bless has dropped another banging highlife banger, Moonlight.
Bless has been able to cement his footprints in the highlife genre after the success of his Chochomucho single featuring Kofi Kinaata. In the song titled Moonlight, Bless, signed under the SkyRoon Entertainment and STB House, showed his inherent ability in his vocal delivery and songwriting skills and liaised it on the perfectly mastered beat.

Moonlight throws more light on the act of forgiving each other in relationships and thus, encouraging couple to be lenient with each other and show a sense of compassion when one offends.

The visuals of the single was directed by Abass has been released and the responses from music lovers has been positive and very welcoming.

Moonlight is currently on online music stores and streaming platforms.

Meet Bina, The 9 Year Old Musician With 29 Track Album

The industry in Ghana keeps producing new talents who are hungry to leave an imprint in the music industry. Ghana’s entertainment in general has really seen major improvements in the last decade as a result of the sprouting of the new super talented artists.
There is a saying that “the underground is gold” and it is with no doubt that the future of the music industry is very bright. The nation can boast of many talents especially teenagers who are ready to go head-on with their aged counterparts.

Another star has been discovered and nurtured to contribute her quota to the development of the industry. As young as she is, she is poised to bring out the best in her to make herself known to the nation.
Born Nyarkowaa Boadu Angah Mene and known within the showbiz industry as Bina. She’s a nine year old hiplife, hip-hop and afrobeats musician with a 29 track album to her credit, how wonderful it is to achieve this feat at this tender age.
Currently, she’s being managed by her father. Growing up in the Ashanti region of Ghana, she was a participant of the talent hunt show Talented Kidz Season 10. Although, she didn’t emerge the ultimate winner, it never dampen her spirit of continuing chasing her dream.

The album, although, yet to be released has songs which features top artists like Flowking Stone, Fameye, Koo Ntakra amongst others. She has the ambition of releasing at least 290 songs, which she says it’s her destiny. The songs on the yet to be released album are grouped into three categories Patriotic, Highlife and Hiphop.
She has a very bright future and with determination she would break barriers and cross borders with her craft.

She has released two of the many songs on the album which features Flowking Stone and Fameye which is receiving massive rotation across the nation.

In an interview with Sammy Flex of Zylofon FM monitored by degraftpr.co.uk, she revealed she wants to be a chef in the future and work on starting her own restaurant and other enterprises.
